Q - Why should I invest in professional photography of my pet?
A - In this day and age of cell phone photography, why indeed?
First, it's important to recognize the limitations of digital photos. How many of us have hundreds of poorly lit cellphone pictures saved on our phones or uploaded to a social media gallery? While digital cell phone photos are fun to make and post, they do not stand the test of time like printed works of art.
For so many of us, our pets are MORE than just pets...they are valued members of our family. Look on the walls or fireplace mantles of anyone's house and you may find photographic galleries of the most important people in our lives. Hiring a professional to photograph your pet with proper exposure, lighting, and posing gives you the opportunity to create PRINTED works of art to display in your home. There's no better way to forever honor your pet's place in your life!
Q - Do you only photograph dogs?
A - No! While it's true that dogs are the most common pet folks ask me to photograph, I photograph ALL pets. I have photographed cats, donkeys, bearded dragons, turtles...you get the idea. All pets are deserving of a fabulous photo session!
Q - What if my pet is not very well behaved? Can we still do a photo session?
A - Absolutely! Your pet does NOT have to be perfectly trained for us to capture gorgeous photos. Safety is ALWAYS my upmost priority, so to that end most of my photo sessions are fully done on leash. Leashes can be removed in post-processing!
Furthermore, the goal of each session is to not only capture fantastic photos, but to do so in a way that is fun for EVERYONE - including your pet! If at any time I feel your pet is too stressed or frightened to continue the session, we will stop and regroup.
Q - Can I be in pictures with my pet?
A - Definitely! These are usually some of my favorite photos from sessions. There is absolutely no pressure for you to pose with your pet, but I encourage you to consider it!
Q - Do you offer printed artwork?
A - Each photo session comes with a gallery of digital images for downloading. However, my main goal is for you to print your photos for display in your home or office! You will be able to purchase print products directly from your completed online gallery.
Q - What area do you serve, and do you travel further?
A - I serve the greater Akron, Canton, Medina and Cleveland regions of Ohio. Under select circumstances will I travel further, and an additional travel fee will apply.
